## Description

“Everybody’s Talking About Jamie” is a vibrant musical that follows the story of Jamie New, a 16-year-old teenager living in Sheffield, England, who dreams of becoming a drag queen. Despite facing rejection from his father, bullying at school, and prejudice from his environment, Jamie refuses to hide who he really is. With the unconditional support of his mother, Margaret, and friends who believe in him, Jamie embarks on a journey of self-discovery, courage, and acceptance. Through music, humor, and deeply emotional moments, the young man challenges social norms and fights to attend prom while staying true to his identity. The play celebrates diversity, authenticity, and the power of daring to be oneself, conveying an inspiring message about the importance of inclusion and self-love.
