## Description

Based on the powerful words of the shaman and Yanomami leader Davi Kopenawa, the documentary portrays the Watoriki community during the important funerary ritual reahu, a collective effort to sustain the sky. The film presents itself as a forceful shamanic critique of illegal mining and the deadly mix of epidemics brought by outsiders, called xawara. Placing the beauty of the Yanomami cosmology and the xapiri spirits in the foreground, as well as highlighting their geopolitical strength, the feature invites us to dream far.
