## Description

CIMAM (@cimam_museums) has opened its call for 2026 travel grants to attend its 58th Annual Conference, to be held from November 20-22 in Harare, Zimbabwe. As part of this edition, the Central American Art Center Institute (ICAC), through a grant from the Reina Sofía Museum Foundation (@museoreinasofia), will support the participation of professionals residing in Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua, as well as members of their diasporas residing in emerging and developing economies. The call is aimed at museum directors, curators, researchers, and professionals linked to modern and contemporary art who require financial support to participate in this international meeting. The grant covers conference registration, round-trip economy class airfare, four nights of accommodation, and CIMAM membership for the period 2026–2028. An opportunity to strengthen networks, expand professional exchanges, and be part of a global conversation on museums and contemporary art.
