## Description

The Cordão do Prata Preta promotes a parade in the Port Zone of Rio with samba, a wind orchestra, and giant puppets through the streets of the Little Africa region, as part of the Feira Preta Festival. The event takes place between Armazém Kobra and Armazém 1, bringing together music, memory, and cultural occupation of public space. Founded in 2006, the bloco honors Horácio José da Silva, a popular leader linked to the Vaccine Revolt in 1904. With its headquarters in Gamboa, the Cordão do Prata Preta has become one of the traditional blocs of the carioca port region.
