## Description

The 'Formación Turística para Diplomáticos' course, designed to strengthen the technical and strategic competencies of the Dominican Foreign Service members and officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and institutions linked to the tourism sector. The course, which will extend until the 21st of this month, takes place at the INESDYC headquarters both in person and virtually. Participants include prominent professionals from various fields. Throughout these days, there will be 8 training sessions, 7 thematic conferences, and a closing panel aimed at enhancing the role of Dominican missions in the international promotion of tourism, attracting investment, expanding air connectivity, and the global positioning of the country as a leading destination. Strategic topics such as country narrative, tourism investment, issuing markets, economic impact, tourism governance, destination diversification, sustainability, innovation, and other essential aspects of the national and international tourism agenda will be addressed.
