The musical tradition of July 2nd gains strength with the philharmonic orchestras selected in the contest promoted by Funceb. The post will present the bands participating in the Civic Parade of Brazil's Independence in Bahia this year. The 'Filarmônica 25 de Dezembro' from Irará, with 72 years of uninterrupted activity, represented Bahia in the National Music Band Championship, achieving vice-championship.
