## Description

Fauna Popular is an art project by Lara Leru Ottaviani and Cecilia Valagussa exploring animal-related idioms and their unexpected metamorphoses around the world. The idioms are illustrated using linocut printing, creating a series of double matrices. The illustrations are hand-printed in limited editions, signed and numbered. The project will be developed during an artistic residency at La Linterna, Cali. The artists will participate in the Ilustropia Festival in Bogotá from April 24th to 26th. Supported by IIC Bogotá.
