## Description

Global Big Day Panama 2026 - Marine and Coastal Birds Edition.
On May 9th, join us for a unique experience at Playa Bonita, Panama, exploring the Panama Canal mangrove corridor. This 6 km trail along Punta Bruja, a protected landscape since 1997, leads to the mangroves of Punta Dejal, where marine, aquatic, and coastal forest birds converge in an ecologically valuable environment.

Biodiversity in every paddle. This initiative aims to establish a permanent eBird counting point for this wetland, generating scientific data to support long-term conservation. Every participation counts, every observation matters.

During the day, you can participate in various nautical activities like Hawaiian canoes, stand-up paddleboarding, open-water swimming, and dragon boating, all with a zero-emission logistics approach. We will also have terrestrial observation, mangrove trails, and guided tours with experts, open to all experience levels with limited capacity.

As an academy, we offer equipment rental, prior technical classes, and rowing guides available by reservation for those who wish to prepare or experience it accompanied.
