## Description

A program uniting the theatrical brilliance of Nino Rota, giving unexpected prominence to the double bass, with the epic intensity of Sibelius's Symphony No. 2. Two 20th-century perspectives that contrast and enhance each other with lightness, depth, and great symphonic emotion. Conducted by Martín Lebel with soloist Pedro Vares (double bass). Includes a pre-concert talk on September 16th at 18hs in the Foyer of Teatro Solís.
