## Description

Marianela Boan Danza presents the world premiere of La Vida No es Sueño, a contemporary version of Calderón de la Barca's La Vida es Sueño, created and directed by Marianela Boán. The work focuses the conflict on only two characters – Segismundo and Basilio – universal symbols of the tensions between freedom and power, destiny and will, truth and manipulation. The father-son relationship and tolerance for the different are also addressed in this duel between two great performers: Erick Roque Montero and Rafael S. Morla. With a language that fuses contemporary dance, aerial dance, theater, and visual arts.
