## Description

Matina will host São João na Rede 2026 on May 30th at Parque da Laranja, featuring traditional forró music and popular culture from Paraíba. The event includes performances by Teatro de Bonecos da Cia Boca de Cena, Isaque do Acordeon, Junina Flor de Laranjeira, Jeová do Acordeon, and Anastácia. The program aims to promote the traditional Forró Matrizes and support its nomination for UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Organized by the Government of Paraíba through the Secretary of State for Culture, in partnership with Associação Cultural Balaio Nordeste and with support from the Municipality of Matinhas.
