## Description

Resting Matter brings together two sculptors whose abstract works interrogate questions of materiality, the industrial and the organic. Garth Evans is a pioneering figure in the development of British sculpture, having led a deeply experimental career which saw him continually investigate the possibilities of medium and form. Ivan Estrada is an artist from Guadalajara, Mexico, whose work leads an inquiry into the products of industrial processes and metallurgy, proposing a radical revision in the binary between the mechanical and the natural.
