## Description

Enjoy an interactive tour and a printmaking workshop inspired by the exhibition "Trópico agridulce". Through our MAC Educa program, we invite you this Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., to participate in an interactive tour of the exhibition "Trópico agridulce", specially designed for children, youth, and families. The exhibition explores the production, preparation, and consumption of food as a recurring theme in contemporary Puerto Rican and Caribbean art. During the tour, we will explore the exhibition through playful dynamics that invite us to imagine the history of the foods we consume. We will ask questions like: Where does it come from? Who prepared it? How does it reach our kitchens? Through these reflections, we will address food security and sovereignty issues in an accessible and meaningful way for our children. Afterwards, we will continue with the printmaking workshop "Colores con Sabor", led by artist educator Fraixa Albizu Rodríguez, where you will discover the tropical art of Puerto Rico using typical fruits and vegetables such as pineapple, plantain, yautia, and ají. The interactive tour will be led by Claudia Oliveras Rodríguez, intern of the MAC Educa program and student of the Faculty of Education of the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus.
