A new issue of Songlines is out, and for our cover story, we met Silvana Estrada at the former home of Chavela Vargas, to discuss how the late Mexican ranchera singer influenced the making of Estrada's acclaimed album, ‘Vendrán Suaves Lluvias’, helping her to channel grief into song.
