117 Anos Theatro Municipal de Portas Abertas

The Theatro Municipal celebrates its 117th anniversary with a special and completely free program on July 14th. The day includes performances by the Marine Fusilier Band, Os Pequenos Mozart e Amadeus, Ação Social Pela Música, the Opera do Meio-Dia with “Il Trovatore”, presentations by the Maria Olenewa State Dance School, Cia BEMO, and Ballet soloists. There will also be a guided tour, a performance by the OSTM String Quartet, “Kabarett ao Revés” with 60+ ballerinas, Favela Orquestra, a lecture on opera, and the day concludes with the Coro, Ballet, and Symphonic Orchestra presenting the opera “Salvator Rosa”.
