Arigatô... Sayonara

The trajectory and memories of Japanese immigrants in Brazil are the theme of "ARIGATÔ... SAYONARA", a show by Galpão 1 Cia de Dança, presented at Tokio Marine Hall. Directed by Erika Novachi, the work combines jazz and contemporary dance to transform feelings of longing, crossing, and cultural fusion into movement. The presentation is free and is part of the 5th Encontro à Dança, which also features Cia. Jovem Basileu França, Cia Ballet de Cegos Fernanda Bianchini, Grupo Fama and Studio Sabrina Olímpio on the same night. The Encontro à Dança takes place from July 13 to 17, at Tokio Marine Hall, bringing together great names in dance. All activities have accessibility features.
