The story of three characters interwoven in the Sierra Tarahumara, starting from a secret whispered by the wind. A missionary finds her godson, Ernesto, marked by hardship. As he faces leaving home for sustenance, Ernesto is stopped by the presence of Rigoberto, his dead father, who returns as a confusing, sabotaging force. Juanita tries to protect him and break this destiny, confronting Rigoberto, whose shadow embodies the violence and wound that persist in the community.
