Imaginários Queer: entre o figurativo e o abstrato

The exhibition “Imaginários Queer: entre o figurativo e o abstrato” has opened a public call to select seven artists or collectives residing in Pará. The project, which promotes a cultural exchange between the North and Northeast regions, will occupy the Museum of the Federal University of Pará (MUFPA) from August 6 to 28, 2026. Artists or collectives with at least two years of residency in the state can participate, allowing the submission of up to two works in different languages: painting, photography, sculpture, audiovisual, and/or performance. Inscriptions must be made via electronic form by June 26, 2026. Results are expected on July 3, with payment for selected works. More information can be found at ufpa.br.
