Rogério Botter Maio Trio

The JazzB will host contrabassist, composer, and arranger Rogério Botter Maio for a trio performance. The project offers an analytical listening of Brazilian songbook, guided by interpretive freedom and structural rigor of the arrangements. The repertoire covers central themes of Brazilian music, structured with a balanced sound. The performance focuses on timbre research, highlighting the execution of melodies on the contrabass with the use of the bow.
