In the seventh staging of the XXVII International Dance Showcase Cuerpos en Tránsito 2026, Colombian creator and performer Vladimir Rodríguez presented T.O.C., a work that is set in a hybrid territory between dance, voice, and conceptual construction, proposing a scenic experience that questions through repetition, compulsion, and the impossibility of containing what emerges from the body. The proposal is not limited to a clinical reading of obsessive-compulsive disorder. Rodríguez displaces the meaning of the acronym to propose a reinterpretation: disorder of confused origin. A notion that directly connects with the migratory experience, that state in which identity ceases to be fixed and becomes multiple, ambiguous, in transit. Migration of Rodríguez, his years in Europe and his family history—crossed by different languages, territories, and identities—become scenic material.
