The Accounting Sciences Bachelor's course (In-person) will offer the discipline "International Studies (Judgement and decision-making in business) – INT0076" for all UFPE students. Classes will be held on Tuesdays from 8:30 PM to 10:10 PM, and on Thursdays from 6:50 PM to 8:30 PM, at the Center for Applied Social Sciences (CCSA). Enrollment must be done by the student in Sigaa, following the enrollment calendar for the 2026.2 academic semester. Proficiency in English is required. The course content includes "General issues of judgment and decision-making," "Susceptibility to cognitive biases," "Mechanisms: why do we fall into these cognitive biases?" and "Solutions: what can we do to solve these problems caused by cognitive biases?". The discipline will be taught by British professor Kate Horton, affiliated with the Department of Accounting and Actuarial Sciences at UFPE. The workload will be 60 hours.
